Shall we keep Lorne's religion out of this? Lanning has the balls to put dared subjects in the game no matter what anyone else thinks. OWI has always been a very stuborn company when it comes to that (thankfully). So keep religion out of this, PLEASE!

Secondly, the subject of the game doesn't have anything to do with the difficulty level. It's the switch from making 2D puzzles to 3D puzzles that made it all so hard.
In AO and AE, you could go up, down, left and right. Making a puzzle that way is not that hard. But making a puzzle where the player can move in every possible direction, that's very very hard, thus the reason why MO was rather more easy then the previous games. That's maybe also the reason why Lorne decided to make Stranger a shooter instead of a puzzle game. Becouse he realized that 3D puzzles are almost undoable.
