1. Why do the Dutch speak english so well on internet?

Since Dutch is a language that is not used much by other countries, and we want to communicate, English is a major class in school. Even the lowliest forms of education feature English.

2. Do you have to learn english?

Well, yeah. But coming to forums, watching English programmes, and visiting the Net also helps.

3. Why are so many people on the forums from the Netherlands?

That is just a coincidence. As far as I know it is only Big Bro Boogie, Havoc and myself.

In Dutch, Nederland comes from the word "Neder", which means something like "low", since most of the country sits under sea level. The Americans/English made it into The Netherlands.
