I've never understood the idea of the characters in OSW blurring the line between the native industrial races. The Stranger aside, all the characters either strive to live in harmony with nature, or they're invaders who treasure Moolah at the expense of the natives. Their levels of technology and importance in Mudos's social structure aren't relevent as far as I can see, because their motives and philosophies are clear.
Stranger, despite feeling pressured to blend in with industrial creatures, actually dislikes Clakkerz, Outlaws and Sekto - so why is he trying to get on with them in the first place? Even as he's trying to raise the Moolah for his operation he knows he prefers to spend time with nature and feels an affinity for the Grubbs. I can only conclude he indeed cannot envisage a life with them, regardless of how much of his herritage he's aware of.
Is Stranger a terrorist? He's led an uprising against Sekto's forces and destroyed another profitable corporation. I do wonder how his reputation will develop. If his notority grows to parallel Abe's, that would be a much more plausible reason for them to combine forces than to simply bump into each other. Abe is trying to unite the fragmented Mudokon race, so it follows he may try to ally other native peoples to his cause. I do want to find out what happens to Stranger, though.
