Stivik glanced at Anni. "That's the kind of erratic and irrational behaviour you can expect from that mud." Long words were the way to get a vykker on your side, make 'em think you're intelligent, they feel threatened and try and look better than you. "You're like the only vykker we've got here. We don't want you getting hurt." Flattery, make em look pathetic, they hate it. "Anni has attacked me twice already, and you've seen how she gets around vykkers." I'm so much more experienced than you! That would really get him riled. "I'll stay here and guard her, if she's using spiritual powers then we should atop the situation getting worse. You can explain that to Arnie better than me." And finally, give 'em a chance to see a way of bettering you and with the average vykker it's problem solved!
