Nice start, Scrab-Meat. This story is definitely original and I already feel attached to some of the characters and their sad tales. This one is definitely going to catch my interest. There's only one thing I could point out, though, and it's not "Mudokin", it's "Mudokon". Other than that, it's perfect!
