i get the same problem too sometimes and also i always have one laser beam out of the three at feeco depot that wont open after i have sucessfully completed the three necesary levels.
by the way do u use the original exe to play it on windows xp,or the one that goes around in the internet?if the one you use is original,then i want it,the version i bought wont play on win xp
