I didn't mean you were in a competition, what I meant was that you two are disagreeing over who's is better, each saying the other's is, and I can't decide between the two fics. But I do think that the insistence that the other's is better could help you both to improve beyond you already very high writing skill. Forgive that ramble though. I stil look forwrad to a new chapter.
