He turned, nodded to Berdon ,then set off back the way he came. He keeps to the cover of the trees, and instead of going back directly, circles round a bit while making sure he is facing in the direction he remembers the village to be.
He doesn't care about the impending storm, rain is nothing, he only need worry if there is lightning.
' And despite what Cheddar said, if I could take a foolish risk to save another villager's life, I'd do it. I still have to finish payment for my sins as an industrialist.'
