Speaking as a non-Christian, I really don't think you should tar all of them with the same brush. There are ~2billion of them of them after all. For every vocal SOB who wants to shove their religion down your throat (now where have I heard that phrase recently?) there are 100 wonderful, nice people who just want to live their lives and don't give a shit what you do with yours.

Oh yeah, there's always the "but there are some REALLY nice individuals in that religion!" argument. But in my experience they are few and far between. And by that I mean, I've only ever met 3 nice christians, but hundreds of conservative assholes who think that all gay people should be "converted" or shot.
Plus you've got the fact that, operating as a whole, Christianity is really bad. Even if there are a few nice people in there somewhere, it doesn't change the fact that the Christian organisation is a monopolising interfering self important arrogant whiny bitch.
I'm sure there are a few decent people who practice Christianity, but the fact is they evidently don't make up a large enough proportion of the following to have any kind of influence or to avoid being tarred and feathered for the reputation of the majority whom they assort with their presence by default.
