Just one question; does being in a Marching Band count as participating in a sport?

If cheerleading and show choir count as a sport, I think 100 sweaty band dorks, doing roll step marching, while playing music in time, in step, having to be cognitive and adaptive of what they are doing and working as a "team," counts as a
sport .
