Roland continued through the woods, looking for signs. There was little to go on, surprisingly... but after a short distance he spotted something on the ground.
Roland knelt to pick it up, and discovered it was the rope used to tether the horse they were tracking down. Good. At least now he knew they were on the right track.
Roland: "Look at this ... " He didn't know just what else to say, so he fell silent.
