Compelling stories, characters, design, originality and charm are all Oddworld neccessities. And Fangus was very much lacking in those factors.

We've only seen a few pieces of early concept art. You can obviously see the difference between the two fangus designs we've seen, so it's silly to think there'd be no changes made for the final product. It's all void now, considering it's been cancelled.
By the way, i'm not really looking forward to the Oddworld movie, but they might suprise me. It's the games that interest me.
