I <3 Flea. Playing along has caused my slapping and popping hand some pain, but it's so awesome. Then again I always seem to hurt myself while slapping on bass. Once I was air slapping and spanked my own penis, needless to say, it hurt...

I play bass, but I can't stand slapping.
Flea is f-ing amazing though. Everything he does sounds so right. Even that repulsive slapping.
If only I could wipe that sound off the face of the earth...
