Life is a waste of time in my opinion. I'm not thinking of quitting or anything, but existing through a period of time to see people you know and love die doesn't seem very pointful to me.

Perhaps it's to have the chace to know and love those people?
Meh, I think each individual has an unique purpose, but I think the majority of the people rarely fulfill their main reason for living. Or something. I also believe there are lots of other little reasons for living--both logical and spiritual-ish.
