I don't know if this is entirely true, miss NEELY. Crig was sort of like Alf's story telling partner. It is confirmed that he is a reacurring character in the Dear Alf section on oddworld.com. Someone may have just used
his name for the fun of it, and may not have been the inhabitant. I don't know.
