I think Stranger would do good as a TV series or a comic. Becouse the setting of Stranger, his persone and the story all allow for a 'Lucky Luke' kind of series. No real connected story line, but just a serries of episodes where Stranger just catches a few bad guys, does some funny stuff in the mean time, or just where it shows what he does when he's not hunting.

Abe and co might not do so well in a comic. The story's surroundings and enviorments are more for a movie. And the story was initialy intended for a movie in the first place, but they decided to go with games first becouse they wanted to improve the quality of the movies before putting it on the big screen.
I'd say the quality of their movies in Stranger has advanced a lot since AO. Creators of the movie have made a lot of changes in the way they work. I dunno if anyone read the artical about Stranger a while back, but they gave a lot of example's of how they changed the movies build.
For instance, in the movies of AO most models only had about a dozen of moveable parts (such as arms, legs, eye's, that kinda stuff). In Stranger, even the tiniest details move (Strangers clothes, hat ect. You didn't see that in AO and AE).

I'd say, put Abe on the big screen and Stranger on the T.V. Both would get high rated if you ask me.
