£88 a year is still a lot of money for one game. Plus there's the £96 every other year you're subscribed. That's way too much compared to the £17.99 one time payment for Guild Wars. I'm not saying which one is better than the other because I havn't played either of them. But going purely by the costs, Guild Wars clearly comes out on top.
