I'm glad there's never been a death in my family or among my friends, or even my casual acquaintances. Yakima isn't a very healthy or safe place, but I seem to have some good mojo surrounding me. On the other hand, when something does happen to someone I know or care about, which it will, inevitably, I'm going to be ill equipped to cope with it. Ugh. Whatever. Best not to think about death if I don't have to.
