Too true. One of my neighborhood bands (Consisting entirely of 13-year olds, calling themselves "The Messengers of Hades") is trying to be a Hate Metal band. Their lyrics are as such: "I HATE THE WORLD! IT CAN DIE! YOU DON'T LIKE IT? DROP DEAD! THE WORLD IS SHATTERING! FLAMES REIGN! HATE-" *Record skips* What a bunch of losers. They can't even play their damn instruments.
I'm currently into Metallica, but that's about it so far.
