YESH! I loooved that game. Haven't played it in a while though. I vaugley remember a Christmas special in the snow, mind you. They should release JJR on GBA.

I think you missed out some news
It has been out on GBA for a while. But believe me, it's nothing like the original. They pretty much ruined the game with the whole new design, and boring gameplay.
