What's more powerful?
The pavement, that won't move for the wind?
The grass, that can grow through pavement?
The wind, who bends the grass?
|
The pavement. Grass never actually breaks through the pavement, it takes something solid like a root. The tree is the most "powerful" in that it's the only thing that displays any amount of strength. However it is not the least vulnerable - tarmac paving is far more rigid and impact resistant. But ultimately trees are for more important, useful and attractive. Paving is there because cars are there, and cars are ugly polluters.

What's the root to all evil, money or stupidity?
|
Niether. The root to all evil is people. At the same time, the root to all good is people. Society aside, nature plays a part too. She can create beautiful people and lands, and then take them away in an instant. But mostly it's people. We affect the world around us hugely, sometimes we don't even know it.
Money and stupidity are just some causes of evil, but if you're going to sum up the root of all evil it has to be Nature and Humans.
