Part of the problem with RE being that it's a third person game, seen from the perspective of various, unhelpful, awkward camera angles that end up causing you to bump into things and run about like a demented retard on speed. It literally makes your player controlled character look like Halo 1 soldier AI is at the helm.
If they got rid of that I'd consider it... definately looks good graphically but I'm not interested in that, I want to know how it plays.

Same here. I haven't really liked playing the previous Resident Evil games, but they are a treat to watch... I did like the Survivor series, mind you. It was just an arcade zombie shooter. Cheap thrills.
