I loved this little trinket. It depends what kind of person you are. You start out as a fish, millions of years ago when life began. As you progress through the game, you go through the amphibian era, the dinosaurs, mammals, early man, ice age, etc. The only bad side is the game length.
Either you will absolutely love this game or absolutely hate it. Depends what kind of person you are.
EVO is a side-scroller. Your constant objective is to kill and eat enemies to gain EVO points, and when you get enough points, you can choose to evolve a specific part of your body. Say you're a fish, and you have enough points to buy a cool sharkish tailfin. Now your avatar will move faster! It's just really fun to make your own monster depending on your personality (are you one for attack or defense more?).
