I think my favourite would be strategy games, usually, but not necessarily, real-time. I guess I just like the strategic element. I very rarely like first person shooters, unless there's something special about it that makes me like it. I quite liked the Jedi Knight series, even though the last two had pretty poor storylines.
As for RPGs, that depends on the specific game, I really either love it or hate it.
