When I was small, I would always try to imitate things I saw in movies. Home Alone was one of my favorite childhood movies (next to Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, of course). I fell in love with that annoying little kid's "clever" traps.
Anyway, I would always attempt to "invent" traps... for... well, I don't know who these traps were supposed to be for, but my innovative little mind had to be satisfied by something. They were always so lame. The only one I remember is a "trap" consisting of my attempt to suspend a toy helicopter from a couch and a table (which were several feet apart, mind you) using only masking tape. I only accomplished making a mess, which is just fine because I had no idea what I set off to accomplish in the first place.
I did get really frustrated, though.
God, that's not funny at all. Oh well.
