Sorry, folks. I was at a college orientation for the past three days, and had no internet access. Hooray for UMASS!
Roland held on a little tighter than was probably comfortable for the Eagle, and tried to stop yanking his feathers.
Roland looked to the sun and quickly judged north. If the Eagle couldn't find it on his own ... Roland was a bit annoyed, but didn't show it.
Roland: "Start north. We'll likely reach a mountain range in an hour or so, depending on how fast you can fly."

Art, much to his own surprise (and most likely the surprise of the passengers, he thought) piloted the plane out of the hangar and into the air with little trouble.
Once airborne and at what he hoped was a safe height, he toggled off the seatbelt light and started scanning the controls in more detail.
