"Grrr....damn varmin..." Stranger growled to himself. He tipped his hand behind Slogann's neck, then lifted her. He climbed up a tall tree, and set her down on a sturdy branch, then slid back down the trunk. His bow was now loaded and locked with Boom-bats and Thud-slugs. Outlaws that were close to him slammed them in the gut with a Thud-slug. Long-ranged outlaws were hooked on with Boom-bats, also causing a chain reaction with the other outlaws close to the target. He bountied the dead or knocked-out outlaws, then continued to fight with his comrads.
Slogann, lying in the trees, opened her eyes. She felt the tree shudder under explosions. "WHO PUT ME UP 'ERE!?" she shouted, twisting her legs around the branch she was on.
