No he's got a point actually... You might not know this since you're an ignorant American (
) but London is just jam packed full of irreplaceable architecture from many famous and historical architects and designers. There's a lot of heritage there and a lot of stuff that if even just a little bit damaged, has to be carefully restored by a team of specialists... bomb damage would just be too much... you can't rebuild that sort of thing, it can only be replaced with something that is essentially just shallow and void of meaning. I'm not exactly sure of where the bomb blasts occured but I heard that one was in a tube station, and if that's correct then again it's more scope for causing irreparable damge to irreplaceable architecture, since many of London's tube stations are quite unique architectural pieces.
