I would post more about the rest of the house but it's so HUGE and so difficult to describe that I'd be going on for another 2 pages. When we bought the house the estate agent's leaflet for the house was like a small book.
We got a walk in cooled pantry, huge stove, big kitchen space, really big, open dining room area, same for the lounge, and there's a few other rooms that have strange names and purposes, which we've turned into games rooms, bedrooms to let, and other bits and pieces.
OH! And there's gargoyles.
Lots of little ones, barely noticeable but they're there, mostly at the edges of cornices and other masonry. The house was originally built for a bit of a nutty professor, so go figure.
