You know what? Pink Floyd can go to Hell and they can take U2 with them. I've had it with people saying that they're so goddamned good. I've had it with my local radio stations playing 3 and a half hours of that fuzzy headed stoner b.s and topping it off with the entire ****ing Joshua Tree album. I've heard these bands way too much. Every year Live 8 comes and radio is ruined for a week.
You know, I sorta like Pink Floyd and U2, and can tolerate them in small doses. But I don't want to hear 2+ requests an hour, an hour plus long "Floyd on the 4th" Block, hear their reunion and Live 8 performances and a half hour of it every damn night at 10. I will hear, on average, a good hour of Pink Floyd and an hour of U2 with the potential to hear 6 hours of Floyd and U2 a week. I've heard some Pink Floyd albums about as many times as albums I personally own.
