Metal doesn't do much for me. Sure, I'll causually listen to something like Metallica or Iron Maiden, but it's nothing I get really into. Now smite me as I go listen to some more ska. Nyah.
One last closing thought is that there's like, too many sub genres of metal. All of these terms being thrown around... it gets confusing for the ignorant, like myself. Makes me suspect you people just love pulling out random works out of your ass to describe a band's specific brand of music. I mean honestly, you can only go so far into genre classification before it becomes ridiculous
