That makes me laugh, so, so much.  XD Wasn't the previous movie based on the novel, at least loosely? It would have to be, no? With a title like 'War of the Worlds'. |
What I'm saying is, Steven Spielberg looked at the novel when he made the movie, not the previous film. It's a lot like saying that Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy was a remake of the earlier film.
