I've recently discovered a Japanese, all girl band that I absolutely adore: Shonen Knife. They have basically the exact bubblegum-punk sound and style of lyrics as the Ramones. Heck, they've even done a cover of "I wanna be sedated". Also, they used the tune of "Blitzkrieg Bop" for a song they made for the PowerPuff Girls soundtrack.
Warning: Some songs may be a bit too cute. But if you like the Ramones, check them out.
