They setted up to spend the night far out in front of the destroyed labs. Stranger and Josh had gone out to find wood for their fire, the Slig brothers were guarding the camp, Abe and Kirk were sent out to find any type of edible/drinkable substances to have. Steven, well, he sat around the camp. Slogann, on the other hand, was resting on a folded giant leaf in a pillow form, and another leaf covering her. Over to Josh and Stranger now. Stranger was grumbling to himself, as he picked up large sticks. Josh over-heard him mumbling, then walked by him. He put his hand on his shoulder again, and Stranger turned to him. "Don't worry, Stranger. Everything's fine now. Why are you worrying so much now?" Josh asked. Stranger sighed heavily. "Sure, everything's fine now. Well, I was just t'inkin' 'bout...what happened these past days. I mean, meetin' you guys was like a blessin', but how I almost lost them as well. It just caught me off-guard," Stranger admitted. "Well, it's all over now, Stranger. Slogann's fine, and so are your friends. There's nothin' to worry 'bout now. Relax, and have a lil' fun," Josh smiled slightly. Stranger sighed again, then smiled back to Josh. "Yeah...alright," Stranger agreed. Josh patted him on the shoulder last time, then went back to work. But what bothered Stranger was what else was stored for them. But what dangers also were out for him as well. Thinking more of his friend's saftey as well, too. He growled softly, walking back to camp.

Later at night, everyone was asleep, under the safety of the tree shadows. Stranger was sitting cross-legged on his sleeping leaf. He had his elbow on his knee, and his palm on his chin. He looked back to the rest of his "clan", snoring softly, drooling as well. Night birds stirred softly in the trees, the wind swaying the leaves slowly. He tapped his finger on his lips, then turned to Slogann, who was chirping softly in her dreams. She was still a little burned, with patches of black marks on her red fur. Her tattered broken leg as well, twisted in a grosteque fashion. He turned back away from them, staring up in the twinkling night sky. He was thinking of what he thought about back in the woods. He might've cared more for his life, but the safety of his friends is what he had to care about now. He stood up from his thinking, and made a choice well. He gathered his things near the fire, and then wrote on a leaf. He patched it on Abe's sleeping leaf, then walked by Slogann. He knelt down by her, softly patting her on the head. "I'm sorry," he whispered, a tear forming in his eye. He held strong, wiping his eye, then standing up. He slung his armor over his shoulder, whit his bow and his sack of moolah and critters. He turned back to them once more, sighing under his breath. "Good-bye...y'all," he whispered to all of them, disappearing in the darkness of the forest.
