Hello, folks! Yes, Chris is right, you need to do a run-roll (while running, press -X-).
Many players don't find out that it is actually possible in the beggining, only after they are stuck in a screen where you need to use that.
You can make a run-jump too, but I guess you already know that, because it's impossible to get to the Scrabanian Nest without making a few run-jumps
