I suppose you are talking about one of the first room of the Feeco Depot Executive Office, where there are two sligs, a lever, and a barrier.
You need to pull the lever, thts right. You need to sneak trough shadows to get close to the lever.
Wait until the slig turn around, ALWAYS SNEAKING, pull the lever and get back to the shadow.
Get down and go right.
