Anywho, I have two separate messages for you, depending on who you are. Please don't take offense by my posting both:
a) If you aren't Codek/Mawk/whoever, then I apologize on behalf of everyone who ever accused you for being him, including myself... sort of. (I went back and deleted part of a PM which implied you had some very similar characteristics. Anyway, while you had some ideas and such that I didn't agree with, some intelligence did show through--and a bit of witty humor too at times. For posts showing those traits, you will be missed.
I still think perhaps you take the forums a bit too seriously, and because of that, get a bit defensive too often at harmless comments.
b) If you are codek/mawk/whoever, then well, just tell us. What harm could it do? You are leaving afterall. I bet most members wouldn't get angry over it. I can see why after being banned, you would want to come back... perhaps after regretting past mistakes. (That would also explain why you've seemed to be wanting more special recognition since you'd technically wouldn't be a new member.) Anyway, people can change, and I believe in giving second chances. But since you are leaving, I suppose you're not interested in a second chance.
Of course, you could be Codek, and just trying to see how long you could fool everyone and what kind of drama you could create. In that case, I say you should look into getting a "real" life.

The only thing that I'll confess to is that the above is exactly the reason I left. I didn't sign up to put up with this shit, and I'm not going to stay to put up with it either. I recently did a little reading around the forums, just to see how things have been going, and as a result I've ended up removing Facs and Hobo from my list of thanks. I wonder who else harbours a dislike of me but doesn't even have the integrity of character so much as to be forthcoming with one's opinion.
So I'm Reese am I? Great, I finally get a label to help people create an image to attack, just like the wussy Frenchman. Dehumanising an enemy is always the best way to incite a heavier offensive: Gooks in Vietnam, Towelheads in the Gulf - they aren't people, or human beings, just a label. Hey, what about the idiots that I talk about? It's the same with that isn't it? No, it isn't, because they deserve what they get for being an idiot. Unlike them, I am able to form sentences, and make valid points - IE the forums would be a better place if we didn't allow them to get away with so much SHIT. If you read more than two lines, you might've noticed this. But, hey, I don't want to prevent you from using the right to spend $0.02, and trying to brush this under the proverbial carpet.
Can we have a Brick Wall forum? It may help for a variety of reasons - it seems to fit the bill with the "I say we kick the shit out of idiots..." thread, the true subject of which you all continue to try and drag, screaming, from the public eye. I try to make a point, and immediately the overwhelming majority of people start deflecting the attention to a disagreement that they have instigated because they are either too busy calling me reese/codek/mawk, or they're too pig ignorant to understand the actual subject and what is being proposed. Either that or they feign the ignorance to cause me ire (which I highly suspect to be the case...although idiocy is definately latent if not apparant).
To be frank and down to the point, I don't care enough to spend all my time in each and every thread of mine explaining things to people who just don't get it, either deliberately or because they're simply stupid. Also there seems to be many of the type of people who believe that they can justify their own hypocrisy (Read: Dipstikk) but I am disapproved of, forming an anti-idiot argument despite the "fact" that I'm "no angel" myself. Double hypocrisy doesn't have even a fraction of the kind of rhetoric potency required to sum up how exasperating and exacerbating such a literate travesty is. And dealing with it all is more tiresome than running a marathon in a diving suit.
I've moved to a different forum to escape all this, and escape it I have. I am now a respected member of a community, which is intelligent enough to not require everything being spelled out in laymens terms.
So, pat yourself on the back Oddworld Forums, because your mountain ranges of stupidity are defeating even the most eloquent of lingual climbers. All this place is ever going to be is a tiny little insignificant community of morons that barely even scrape the bottom 1% of understanding anything... at all. I am left both incredulous and embittered at the general incoherancy of this place, rest assured you have made my blacklist, and from here on in, I will no longer speak with praise or approval of the Oddworld Forums, and only remember those who made this site somewhat bareable. Looking back now I have no idea what possessed me to sign up here - I don't even like you or Oddworld.
Thank god for these moments of menthol clarity we all sometimes have. I've been wanting to get all this off my chest for longer than jesus has existed.
