It's been put on hold, maybe to be brought back later. They don't have time to do it, or the technology's not right for it, I think.
Honestly, I hope it stays canned. It was a terrible thing for Oddworld to go right to a shoot-em-up game, it doesn't seem right. Not to mention, Fangus' design sucked.
It's suprizing how many people clutched to this game like a magnet.

I agree. I think the design of Fangus was too much like Stranger and the whole general idea of the game seemed to be lacking originality. (Well, compared with the previous Oddworld games, anyway. :/)
