I know I've said this many times before, but my time spent on Oddworld Forums and OddBlog is going to be reduced significantly, and has been for the last few weeks. This isn't because my Internet has been blocked or anything like that. It's completely voluntary.
The truth is, I've found the need, like others before me, to concentrate on schoolwork and other things in life. ZombieX said it before, and I laughed it off at the time, but you guys really have restricted what I can do, in the very least in terms of time. I can't be dedicated to the online Oddworld community any longer.
This is the perfect time, from your point of view. Oddworld Inhabitants has downsized and is not likely to make any amazing news any time soon, so OddBlog will not need my constant attention. Xav can take care of the news reporting, and I'll be around to do any maintenance it requires.
It's safe to assume
The Oddworld Encyclopæ can now fully embrace its status as a failed project. It's been over five years in the making and was actually close to completion from a technical point of view, so I can return to it later if I ever find the time. Truth is, while the ideals the site would embrace still appeal to me, I just can't be bothered.
I'm not trying to melodramatic, merely explicit in my explanation. Just to clarify, I won't make more than highly infrequent trips to the Oddworld Forums, so I won't be on hand to field tricky questions or moderate General Oddworld Discussion and the Spoiler Forum.
