Indeed, it creeped me out, too.
But Supa-Munch had no reason to use the Edit button. If he used it as you informed him to, he would only have one post. Why would he Edit when there's something totally new being introduced? He wouldn't.
Using the Edit button is for correcting small mistakes and adding a few lines of text, not entirely new animations, and (as in it says in the beggining of the post) a MEGA Update!!
