Chapter 17: The blue fire
As Slaga was still going up the mountain, he began to think about something. 'The god and the goddess both had said the same thing when I was done talking to them. They both said 'Stay alive, for we will meet again.' What do they mean?'
That had really pondered him while going up the mountain. He even stopped for a moment or two to think about it alot more. Anyways, Slaga not only saw the blue fire on a stick, but he couldn't believe the view when he got to the top. It had been incredible. But that all started to change quickly. Gertian and his slig troop were almost to the top. When they got there. Gertian was angry.
"You son of a mudokkon! I can't believe you got up here before I did!" He yelled. "I guess the goddess of Oddworld watches over me." Replied Slaga. Gertian laughed evily, which echoed in the mountains. "The goddess of Oddworld would never watch over you if you were thhe kindest creature on Oddworld!" Gertian scowled out. "Yes she would!" Yelled Slaga back at Gertian. All of a sudden, there was a talk back fight going on with, "no she wouldn't! Yes she would! No she wouldn't! Yes she would!"
Finally, Gertian yelled, "Stop!' he took out his gun. So did all the other sligs. "So Slaga. Are you goanna come quietly, or do I have to kill you once and for all?" He asked. Slaga was shaking. He could feel his fear rising. He was holding the stick of the blue fire in his hand, about to drop it. He was about to scream, but then the ice block he was standing on cracked, and he found himself sliding down the mountain. He screamed, but then realized that it was just like riding on a sled. "Woo-hoo! This is great!" He yelled. "DANGIT SLAGA!! GET BACK HERE!!!" Ordered Gertian.
