Spooce is gained by collecting humshrubs. In short, spooce is used to increase a mudokons psychic power. In the Munch's Oddysee videos we've seen recently, Abe requires 5 units of spooce to transform a normal mudokon into a Tomahawker. Using your psychic power also uses your spooce, if you don't have any spooce then your powers are limited. I think it is also the currency used by mudokons.
