Meeches were hunted and made into food to the point of their extinction. Super Munch's post was a bit vague and misleading. Don't worry, a right pummeling will get him back on track.
Anyway, it's uncertain whether the Meeches had a realm of their own, since they have only been mentioned quickly in the game and a few times in Ask Alf. All we know is that Meeches were tripple-jawed, shrimplike carnivores with a red pigment.
(of course, Scrabs are depicted in a green color in the "Scrab Cakes" poster and paramites were yellow in theirs, so who knows what color the Meeches were. The only other picture we have of them is concept art, and that's a sketch.)
