Chapter 12: The Geruda Cave
There was a long silence. "I must complete my quest. There is no time to spare." Said Slaga. He walked into a palm tree forest. After a while, he had arrived at The Geruda Cave. Let me tell you, IT WAS HUGE! The entrance was in the shape of a large spike. It seemed to have a bumpy red-rock structure. All of a sudden, without warning, a large group of bats flew out of the cave, making a loud squelching sound. Slaga ducked down, covering his head as the bats flew by. When he got up, he calmed himself down and went inside the cave.
Luckily, it wasn't too dark in there thanks to Slaga's red eyes. It was pretty scary in there though. All that he could hear was the wind going inside the cave, and his own breath. Slaga could also hear a few whispers once in a while. Drops of clear water came down on Slaga from above. Fear had struck him.
Slaga felt another suprise coming. It sounded like footsteps. They were awfully fast, and they were getting closer every second. Slaga finally realized what was coming. A large herd of scrabs came running towards Slaga. He didn't know what to do. There was no ledge to climb, and he would never have the courage to kill a scrab. He just screamed out the word, "Help!" That was his last word before he was trampled.
He had been suprised. The scrabs just kept running. Slaga was in so much pain, he couldn't even move a finger. He had begun to go unconscious. His eyes were getting very heavy. He closed them and went unconscious.
