Sorry, man. I've never played Abe's Adventures on the gameboy, but the first PS and PC Oddworld game, Abe's Oddysee, has lavels where you need to give a password to another mudokon, so that he can clear the path.
In AO game, it works this way: abe gets to a place where the path is blocked, then a mudokon asks for password. The password is a combination of whistles(from GAMESPEAK).
So, Abe has to find a story stone, hear the right sequence of sounds, and then repeat that to the mudokon that asked for the password.
Sorry, probably in the gameboy it works in a diferent way.
