Well, like last chapter, chapter5 is alittle short sorry I've been pressed on time. Anyways I hope you enjoy...

Chapter 5

The next morning I woke up to a violent shaking. Anyoyed, I stretched and opened my eyes to see what was going
on.

“Wh-what-whats going on?” I slowly stuttered as I yawned lazaly.

“Comon, we slept to long and now thier after us!”

“Who’s after us?” I asked Chris in confuzion.

“Just common.”

Chris grabbed my arm and pulled me out from the tent. As Chris continued to drag me out of the tent he took a quick
glance at my arm.

“What happened to your arm?”

“Well, last night I found these strange paintings and-” but I was quickly cut short by Chris’ voice.

“No time, explain to me later. Tom’s got the supplys all packed together, lets go.”

I still had no idea what was going on untill I took a glance behind me. As my eyes scanned across the bolder filled
plain I noticed that a huge crowed of Slig guards, slogs, and some kinda armord robots called Syrens. From what I
could see they haven’t had noticed us yet but they where pretty close to catching up to us.We imediatly left the area
trying to cover up any clues to where we where heading. About twenty minutes after we left we could hear the sound
of the Sligs metalic pants and the Slogs barks of hunger. As we continued the day went by slowly as me, Chris, and
Tom traveled further into the desert and even further from civilization. I had explained to Chris what had happened
to my arm earlier on in the day and when we reached noon time the heat was unbearable. It reminded me of thouse
fictonal storys that I had heard of a Mudokon Slave that had traveled through the desert and destroyed Soul Storm
Brewery. Although I was still not sure if these stories where true, there had been a massive shortage of all Soul Storm
products in the city. I soon forgot about all the storys I had heard as bordom and heat overcome me.

“Chris Im gonna pass out.” I panted as I walked with my skin saturated in sweat.

Chris just looked at me and said, “You don’t see me or Tom complaining.”

“Tom never says anything!” I yelled at Chris as Tom just look up at me and then back at Chris.

“Well don’t blame him, he has his reasons.” Chris said as he patted Tom on the back.

From then on there was silence, untill we reached Sunset. As we where walking a sweet and welcoming sent greeted
my nose.

“Do you guys smell that!” I yelled franticly licking my lips.

Chris looked at Tom and Tom just shook his head no, then said, “I don’t smell anything.”

“Well, how could you not smell that its sooo.... sweat and good!’

But Chris and Tom ignored my claims and continued on. It was not untill the sun had set when Chirs and Tom finally
belived me and my claims to a sweet, wounderfull smell.

“Do you hear that?” Chris had said to us being the first one that noticed the strange noise.

It was a distant drumming noise and this time everyone belived that something was out there. Our surronding had
changed from a plain and empty desert to a place that looked much like the imfamous Scrabanian Desert, with giant
bolers everywhere but still mostly sand.

We had followed the strange drumming noise into a huge crevace and the further we strayed into its depths the
louder the noise got. The drumming sound now sounded as if it where a few feet away and the crevace we where in
began to widen. As we approched the end of the crevace the sweet and wounderfull smell I had smelt before was
now everywhere, not only that but we could see torches in the distance!
