That's pretty good stuff, Oddude.

Anyway, Sligco, you could try Gmax, it's a free program which is basically a toned-down version of 3DS Max. "Toned-down" as in, you cannot render models normally, you are quite limited to what sort of files you can save, and a lot of Maxscript from 3DS Max won't work in Gmax. On the plus side, it's free , you can get "game packs" for it, which let you model for certain games, and it has most of the normal features of the 3DS Max version that it's based on.
