I doubt the plots would be too similar to the games. It's possible - nay, probable - that the Abe game involves Rupturefarms, at least as a starting point. But games and movies are different beasts and require very different plots (with way more characters and dialogue) so we can't know for sure how similar they will be.

I think it will be the stories of the games, but sawn from a different view...
I mean not the same way we saw it in the game itself
