Chapter 9: Dream Fight
Slaga had gotten past the war in a stealthy way. He had finally reached the hill. It took him longer to climb it than the last time because he was tired. At the top, once again, he saw the temple. He lit the fire on the right torchholder. After he had done that, Slaga received a limerick. It went like this:
You have made it halfway thorugh
You should still know what to do
Don't think the other two are easy
Because they are pretty cheezy
So I say good luck to you
He was puzzled by that. Slaga climbed down the hill. "I really need some rest." Slaga said to himself. He leaned up on a tree and then went into deep sleep.
At first, it was just pure darkness. It was like a place with no doors, no windows, and no way out. But then the dreams came. He was in an empty white space. Gertian was there. "So here I am inside your dream." Said Gertian. "What are you doing here?" Asked Slaga. "I want to make you an offer." Replied Gertian. He walked up to Slaga. "Here's the deal. You work for me, and I'll give you everything. Power, moolah, armor, and everything else. But if you don't, I will hunt you down like a scrab." Offered Gertian. "Don't listen to him, Slaga!" Yelled out a voice. Philip had appeared. "If you work for him all you will receive is death!" "Will you stay out of this?" Asked Gertian. Philip sighed and rolled his eyes. Then, he had vanished.
Gertian had grown his arms again. Slaga and him both started to punch eachother. Soon, Gertian tackled Slaga down, and then headbashed him. Gertian had his right arm in his pocket. He pulled out a gun. "You have been warned." Said Gertian. Then he shot Slaga. But right after that, Slaga was back in reality. "It was only a dream." Said Slaga. He stood up and got his gun ready. "Well if Gertian strikes, I'll be ready."
