MSN do not send spam or harvest emails. Nor does the MSNbot have the capacity to write and send emails using vBulletin software; it's clever but it isn't
THAT clever.
The MSNbot is programmed to indiscriminately explore an entire website, therefore it follows every single link presented to it. If it comes across a link to the email member page, it will go there, and will appear on the "who's online" list as attempting to email that person, even if it has only reached an error message telling it that it has to be logged on in order to send email messages to members.
